Dobson is located in Surry County, North Carolina. The Town is situated southwest of Mt. Airy and northeast of Elkin. Dobson is about a forty-five minute drive from Winston-Salem and just over an hour from Charlotte. The Town is easily accessible from Interstate 77, Interstate 74, and Highway 601.
